Excellent! Thanks for taking the initiative, David. Ok, wow, top 10 films. That's a tough one, but off the top of my head:
Fargo (thanks for reminding me)
The Departed
Iron Man
Finding Nemo
The Incredibles
Pillow Talk
O Brother Where Art Thou
Office Space
School of Rock
The Lives of Others

Honestly, I don't really have favorite movies that I can rank in a top movie list. I will say, though, that this blog for us amateur critics is a good idea. :-)
Hey Anthony! Who you callin' amateur? I support my family of four on writing/blogging. :-)
I'm not saying all of us are amateurs. I was really referring to just me. Sorry for the confusion. :-)
Jane, I see two Pixar movies on your list so you're the one I'd definitely want to ask about this. I really think "WALL-E" is the best thing Pixar has ever done. It's heads above "The Incredibles," "Ratatouille," and "Toy Story 2," my favorite Pixars. Agree? Disagree?
David - In my book, WALL*E is definitely better than Ratatouille and Toy Story 2, but The Incredibles? I don't know. That was a skillful piece of work, everything from the characters to the voices to the music to the storyline. I'd put The Incredibles, Finding Nemo and WALL*E on the same plain. The fact that WALL*E pulled it off with very little talking is a thing of beauty.
Anthony - no problem. Just wanted to say there are people out here making a good living doing this. :-)
Jane,
I ask because I felt like "WALL-E" really pushed it to the next level. I talk about it in my review - http://www.wthr.com/Global/story.asp?S=8581191&nav=menu188_8_1
I really think "WALL-E" could be the medium's "Beauty and the Beast," the first computer animated film to be nominated for best picture.
