David's TV review of "Dragons' Den"

For the past seven months I've been writing about the work of conservative commentator and activist David Horowitz on my blog Books In Depth. A summary of these writings and my objectives can be found here.

My first freelance article for Horowitz's website, Front Page Magazine, was recently published here. It's a review of the TV show "Dragons' Den" putting the program in the context of the recent political question of whether the government should bail out the Big Three automakers.

I've recently submitted another article to Front Page which I hope they'll publish soon. It is film related and I'll link to it if/when they run it. I hope to write more articles for Horowitz's magazine in the future. If I'm lucky then they'll like my film-related piece and I might be able to write more like it.

David's "Valkyrie" review

Right here. There's a reason why we don't see very many historically-based thrillers based on true stories. I think "Valkyrie" is a textbook explanation of why.

David's review of "Seven Pounds"

The holidays caused it to get posted a bit late but that's OK. It's right here. I propose a model for understanding the film that might help people appreciate it.

Anthony Reviews "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"

I have seen and reviewed The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Even though there are a few things that would make it much better, I still like the movie the way it is.

Anthony Reviews "Seven Pounds"

I have reviewed the latest Will Smith drama Seven Pounds.

There are critics who say that this film is painfully slow for most of its running time. You can count me in that group as well. In my review, I attempt to describe, without spoilers, the experience of watching this film from beginning to end.

David's "Four Christmases" review

Here. Not bad, though definitely not worth a trip to the multiplex.
