Interesting review, David. I like how you mentioned your sister, your fiance, and her friend as die-hard fans of Twilight that you had to be careful with. The fact that you mention April and Melissa's grades is good because it means that even the book fans might not like it.
Also, this is a good example of mentioning a director's and screenwriter's previous film credits to illustrate why the film doesn't work. You do need the right people to make a good movie.
